The factory plastic trans pan is discarded each time you do a ZF 8HP70 transmission service. Upgrade to a permanent solution with better performance benefits.

PPE has engineered an exclusive cast aluminum pan with a replaceable filter (included), which means unlike the factory part there is no need to discard the factory pan assembly when you service your ZF transmission. This eliminates the high cost of replacing the factory pan. Now simply drain, replace the filter, and refill.

PPE’s Heavy-Duty Transmission Pans hold extra fluid and are cast from high-strength A356.0-T6 aluminum for optimal heat dissipation. This pan features internal heat sinks and external cooling fins. These cooling fins, combined with cast aluminum construction, promote reduced transmission fluid temperatures. Cooler oil lubricates better which helps increase transmission service life and reduce service costs.
 
The PPE Heavy-Duty Aluminum Transmission Pan also features a high-powered Neodymium magnet-equipped drain plug to keep harmful ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission internals.

The best solution for your 8spd.

I installed this on my 2016 Ram 1500 Hemi 4x4. Went it great and offers a few key benefits. First, you can actually get to the drain plug unlike the stock pan. Plus it holds 2 extra quarts and moving forward, you reuse the pan and just replace the $25 filter. I’m super happy with the purchase. Now I’ll drain and flush the fluid much more often due to the design.

2014 ram 1500 8 speed

Was looking around to find a pan and filter to do a fluid change and came across this pan and I have to say it was a joy to install. Fast and easy and now with a removable pan it's only 30 dollars for a fluid change now instead of 300 for a pan and filter.

Perfect fit pan

Fit and finish is perfect. This is definitely the best way to go when flushing the transmission on a 8HP70/75. Dealership wanted almost the same price for the plastic pan that doesn’t have a replacement filter. Once I got the old pan out the PPE pan went in easy. Did the heater and factory thermostat delete and added a inline High-Flow Transmission Thermostat. Transmission is running much cooler and shifts better. 185-190 before 145-160 after.
