2020–2026 GM 3.0L Duramax Diesel Fuel Cap

Working in the oilfields of West Texas has made dirt and dust accumulate on the factory flap. I knew I was scraping dirt into my diesel tank every time I fuel up. With the gasket it keeps the dirt out.

I purchased this fuel cap for 3 reasons: 1) To help keep water and dirt out of the fuel tank, 2) As an extra preventative measure to make me stop and think before accidentally putting gasoline or DEF in my diesel tank, and 3) Because it looks cool. I like the fact that it is magnetic EXCEPT the fuel door is plastic. I wasn’t about to stick it to the side of my truck out of fear of scratching it, so I ordered a little magnetic adhesive circle sticker off Amazon and stuck it to the inside of my fuel door to stow the cap while refueling.

Great product, fits just right and well made

I absolutely love the cap. It not only complements the overall look but also ensures that no particles fall in. The only suggestion I have is to include a string so that I don’t forget it at the gas station. Overall, it’s an awesome product!
