Premium High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filter (replaces AC Delco PF26)
The 2020-2023 L5P PF26 filter comes up short with only 259 square inches of 25-micron filtration capability, and the 2024-2025 L5P is equipped with an even smaller PF63 filter. That's why your L5P deserves the PPE DEEP Engine Oil Filter.
The PPE Filter has 522 sq. inches of specially engineered 5-micron filtration media, doubling the size of the stock PF26 filter. The perforated metal center tube provides sufficient media support while the bypass valve is guarded by a rubber seal to prevent unwanted blowby. This filter also includes a high-power magnet that traps ferrous metal shavings, preventing them from clogging the filter or damaging engine components. A silicone anti-drain-back valve prevents engine dry starts. The oil passages are enlarged for unrestricted oil flow, and the threaded plate is made thicker and stronger to accommodate this change.
Note: 114002700 Fuel Coolant Pump Relocation Bracket Kit is required for the install of this deep filter.
