Heat Shield Battery Top Post

Bought this for an Optima DH6/Group 48 battery installed in a 2014 Mustang GT.

Cover fit easily around it, Velcro closure allowed it to be snug, and it covers the battery sides all the way to the top rim without looking bulky or oversized.

Appears to be of durable quality, far better than the OEM, with the gloss exterior easier to keep clean. Optimistic that the heat reflective layers will do their job and prolong battery life. It also looks great and dresses up the engine bay, if that's important to you. Impressed with the low price compared to other options. Highly recommend.

I upgraded battery size in my car and the OEM cover didn’t fit, so I got this. If you need a battery cover I recommend this product.
