The OEM block off plate uses a gasket and can leak over time. The PPE billet block off plate is thicker and uses an O-ring seal. The O-ring is made from Viton more maximum longevity. The PPE billet block off plate installs using the OEM fasteners.

D-Max Coolant Block Off Plare

Tried a making my own gasket, a replacement gasket, and then went with this one based off of the o-ring. I had a little corrosion on the rear engine plate that made the factory gasket insufficient. The o-ring was an easy solution. Quality of the plate and ease of installation made this purchase a no brainer.
