Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve Ram

Add another measure of protection and increase fluid flow to transmission cooler increasing cooling capacity with the easy-to-install billet aluminum PPE Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve for the Ram Cummins diesel.

The OEM part has restrictive internal passages. When the OEM valve fails in the closed position, transmission fluid does not reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components. The PPE Bypass Valve eliminates the extremely restrictive mechanical factory valve which maximizes fluid flow from the transmission cooler.

For further protection, a Neodymium magnet equipped service plug has been added. The removable plug traps ferrous debris and can be accessed to remove particles from the system. The factory bypass valve does not have this feature.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about your product. I was told I needed to spend 7K rebuilding my transmission and gave your product a shot as a last ditched effort and it saved me. It took me less than five minutes to install and instantly got my temps below spec (for reference the day prior I hit 258). It now rarely exceeds 170 which makes me much more comfortable. I commute 200 miles a day so that's very important to me. I'm sure I'll have transmission issues at some point but your product saved me a ton of anguish and money for now. Thank you not only for making a quality product, but getting it shipped to me quickly. I would recommend your products to anyone without hesitation.

Great product

Chevys are know for their trannies blowing up. The OEM thermal bypass valve is inferior. I had this PPE bypass valve installed and my transmission fluid dropped from 180°F-190°F down to 140°F - 145°F instantly. Also live in NC where it’s 90°F with 90%+ humidity

I installed on a 2022 Silverado with 8L90 transmission, It was a really easy install and keeps transmission temps in the 130 - 150 range.

Surprising. Really works. Too good maybe?

Was confused about the part because the instructions don't show the configuration for the '23 and later models which looks different. Tech support answered promptly and explained the difference. Installed and now my temp ranges from 118-138, with spikes to 160 in gridlock. Previous temps were 192-202. Standard factory intercooler. No other changes.
