very good upgrade

I highly recommend this upgrade to the oil and cooling system on a Duramax. It frees up a ton of space where the factory cooler/filter assembly would be. It allows you to upgrade from the inadequate stock oil filter and also improve oil cooling with an external oil cooler.
Be forewarned, it is very tight in this area and attempting this upgrade with the engine in the truck would be very challenging. Also, make note that this is just half of the kit needed to do this upgrade. PPE really should just combine the two.
Here are the other issues to be aware of.
1. There are no detailed instructions. It is pretty self-explanatory, but a little more info could be helpful.
2. I could not find a temperature sensor that would fit inside of the orifice. It should be drilled to accept a standard 1/8 temp sensor. I may attempt this later, but for now I am still searching for a sensor that will work.
It is well worth the money, and I will be doing this upgrade my next build.
