Heavy-Duty Deep-Capacity Cast Aluminum Engine Oil Pan

PPE solves the GM Duramax L5P complete oil drainage problem. During regular oil changes, the stock GM pan retains over half a quart of the dirtiest, heaviest part of the oil which settles to the bottom of the valley of the stock pan. This old oil is trapped in the valley of the stock pan and never drains out. It immediately contaminates your fresh oil.

The PPE Oil Pan's flat, angled bottom design and drain port placement enable complete oil drainage and better engine protection. The profile of the pan is carefully engineering to maximize its internal volume while maintaining all critical dimensions. As a result, the oil capacity is increased by 2.0 quarts, which also increases the thermal stamina and prevents overheating. Engine oil temperatures are further reduced because the PPE L5P Oil Pan is constructed of high-strength, durable A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy. The casting process utilizes permanent steel molds for improved precision and appearance compared to traditional sand casting. 

The PPE L5P Oil Pan is equipped with air channels across the bottom of the pan to increase its external surface area, radiating heat more efficiently. The cast-in triangular gussets provide added strength and rigidity to the flange area. Two deep ribs run across the mid-section inside the pan, vastly strengthening its structural integrity. There are also CNC machined sealant grooves around the flange surface for better and easier sealing.

A powerful neodymium magnet-equipped, precipitation hardened 17-4 stainless steel drain plug is included to pull ferrous metals out of your oil before they can damage the internals. This provides additional protection to your engine internals and extend the oil life.
