Allison Bar and Plate Transmission Cooler

The PPE Allison bar and plate transmission cooler provides the proper cooling that your transmission needs to stay healthier and longer.
The PPE all-aluminum transmission cooler features a massive 211 cubic-inch core – that’s 105% larger than the stock cooler. The 20% larger frontal area increases its airflow exposure, enhancing heat dissipation. Its dense, louvered external fins maximize heat transfer to ambient air, helping achieve a temperature drop of up to 40°F to keep your transmission within the optimal temperature range – even under demanding conditions.
The PPE cooler’s bar and plate construction is a heavy-duty upgrade over the factory stacked plate design, delivering significantly greater cooling mass and flow capacity for true performance gains. Originally installed the PPE EBC blocker for increased transmission fluid line pressure for the added horse power. It worked great the only issue was with the added line pressure my transmission fluid temp also increased. I then installed a PPE thermal bypass and the PPE upgraded Trans cooler. Fixed all my Trans cooling issues. Highly recommend. These PPE products will definitely help me get the most out of my Duramax. Thank you PPE for very fast Shipping and top tier parts.

Fit my 2018 Gmc Sierra 3500hd duramax perfect.
I had to replace my transmission auxiliary cooler lines, this was only a few more bolts.
Looks great. Haven't seen my transmission temp go over 185 since install. Used to go 200-215.
