Duramax Fuel Coolant Pump Relocation Kit

This kit replaces the factory heater coolant pump mounting bracket and moves the pump farther away from the oil filter so that the PPE High Efficiency 2020+ L5P Deep Oil Filter (114000750) can be installed. Using the larger PPE Oil Filter allows increased oil capacity and greater filtration.

Easy install

A must in order to use an extended filter. Hoses and mount are perfectly designed for exact fitment. I was extremely pleased. And it didn't break the bank.

puts to much tension on wiring harness

This kit is perfect for a 2024 GMC 3500 other than one thing... it puts way too much strain on the oem wiring harness even if you unclip 3 of the harnesses' mounting clips which i would rather not have to do (I believe GM put them there for a reason or they wouldn't spend the money on them). What this kit really needs to include is a small 6" extension cable to make the oem harness a tad bit longer so that the relocation doesn't change the way the oem wiring harness is connected to the vehicle AND doesn't put constant tension on the wires, AND doesn't give GM an excuse to not cover a warranty claim because their engineered wire mounting design was removed. Without an extension wire that connects to the non-altered wiring harness I can't recommend this kit; I think it puts way too much force on the wiring and will potentially cause problems down the road which would not be covered under warranty since the kit caused the problem. The last thing I want to have to chase down is a broken wiring inside a wiring harness.
