PPE Heavy-Duty Cast-Aluminum Differential Cover

Excessive heat can degrade the protective qualities of differential fluid, leading to accelerated wear of gears and bearings. In limited-slip differentials, constant high temperatures can break down clutch packs and friction modifiers, resulting in reduced efficiency and compromised traction control.

Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, the PPE differential cover adds 1 quart of fluid capacity and features half-inch external cooling fins for long-lasting heat management and performance.

Built-in windage scrapers inside the PPE cover ensure precise fluid distribution around the gears. By reducing excessive fluid churning, these scrapers lower heat buildup and minimize parasitic loss, promoting more efficient power transfer. Together with the vertical external fins, they form a strong cross-bracing structure that improves load distribution and enhances impact resistance.

The fill plug is precisely positioned at the factory level. Both the fill and drain plugs feature a powerful, high-temperature-rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous particles for added protection.

2025 Ford F250 differential covers.

I bought the black covers for the Sterling 11.6 rear end and the Dana M235 front differential of my 2025 Ford F250 Tremor. They fit perfect and look great. Plus they will make servicing the differentials easy with the drain plugs and proper oil levels. I purchased 6 Qts. of 75-140W gear oil for the rear differential refill and 3 Qts. 80-90W to refill the front differential.

Must have for the 11.6 sterling axle

Factory gives us no drain plug and a fill plug that is too low to have the appropriate level. Updated info from ford wants the diff filled from the electric locker sensor hole. This provides a fill plug at the correct level, a drain plug, great fitment, and great looks. Fill was right around 4.5-5 quarts. Also, Banks isn’t investing in this platform and don’t plan to make one.
