I installed the PPE Zilla Intake Tube on my 2023 Chevy 1500 Duramax 3.0L, and the difference is instantly noticeable. Right off the bat, the quality of this intake is top-tier—solid construction, smooth airflow design, and a perfect OEM fit that required no modifications.
Performance Gains You Can Feel
The biggest improvement is in throttle response and turbo spool-up time. Before the install, there was a slight hesitation under acceleration, but now the power delivery is much smoother and more immediate. MPG & EGT Improvements

Install went a lot easier than expected. Great upgrade over the stock intake tube. Noticeable tone difference and some throttle response.

Instructions were great, install was easy. The quality is awesome. I still have OEM airbox and filter and still got a nice sound from it. I paired this with the PPE catch can and after installing both I picked up marginal improvement on fuel economy and my regens have started stretching longer. Great products!

Quality product to replace the OEM restrictive intake. It’s night and day difference. Although most people are looking for HP or torque improve, most of these modifications are designed for efficiency and reliability to your vehicle. You will notice a difference in sound quality versus OEM; you get that whirling noise from the turbo which is non existing with stock OEM. There is a noticeable difference in throttle sensitivity. Overall install is straightforward. It does take a little bit of work to align rubber grommet with bolt near firewall. Install time was 2 hours.
