2004.5-2007 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L High Pressure Oil Standpipe and Rail Plug Kit

I've been through a few sets of other Stand Pipes including oem. These are another level. Best looking lol and functioning option out there. Rings are well made so you don't have to buy OE and immediately purchase Alliant ring sets. And packaging is impressive 👏

I am studding my 95K mile 6.0 heads. Got the heads checked, they're flat and valves good. Got all new Ford parts to reassemble, including updated stand pipes and dummy plugs. Put it back together and had a massive high pressure oil leak. Turns out, the uppermost standpipe D-rings were shredded on both sides. I had new D-rings from the top end gasket kit, so I replaced one and put it back in with a generous silicone grease coating...huge air leak still. Pulled it back out to find the D-ring shredded again. I assumed this was due to the D-ring trying to seal (it was stationary) while the standpipe was being screwed in. I looked around and found PPE's standpipe and dummy plug kit. It has nylon backing for every O-ring. My updated Motocraft ones had nylon backing for all the D-rings except the uppermost and the lowest ones on the standpipes. The PPE standpipes and dummy plugs are a work of art. I felt guilty hiding them inside the engine. Installed them anyway and all is now good.
