Excessive heat can damage transmission components and degrade fluid, ultimately shortening the life of your vehicle. The PPE Jeep JL/JT 850RE/8HP75 Cast Aluminum Deep Pan regulates the transmission heat and keeps the transmission fluid viscosity in a desirable range. It allows your transmission to handle the heat from off-roading better while prolonging its life.

Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, it offers 1 quarts of additional fluid capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance. The deep external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your transmission cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance impact resistance. The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the pan’s cast surface, enhancing heat transfer. These covers offer maximum durability thanks to their thick, cast, high-strength nodular iron construction. Our covers have been carefully engineered to optimize your vehicle’s approach and departure angles, ensuring that it can navigate any terrain with ease. They are also built to handle the high torsion of challenging off-road environments, with transverse gussets that add strength and rigidity to the housing. The provided hardware is recessed within the cover ensuring that it stays protected from potential damage.

Premium High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filters

The OEM filters fall short with only 25-micron filtration capability. The OEM filter’s leaf spring loses tension and can lead to dirty oil blow-by. The bypass valve in these filters does not have a seal and allows unfiltered dirty oil to slip through. In stark contrast, the PPE filter has superior filtration with 10-micron nominal rating, and increased square inches of specially engineered media. A perforated metal center tube provides rigid media support. The PPE filter also includes a heat-resistant neodymium magnet to capture ferrous particles. The OEM part has restrictive internal passages. When the OEM valve fails in the closed position, transmission fluid doesn’t reach your cooler. This can be caused by mechanical failure or debris. The result of stock valve failure can cause the transmission to dangerously overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, the demands of towing and rigorous stop-and-go driving conditions shorten the life of transmission components.
