PPE’s Water Level Sensor Wrench does two important jobs: The closed wrench end is used to remove and reinstall the Water In Fuel (WIF) filter sensor, the small end of the wrench was made to fit the billet PPE Air Bleeder Screw. The PPE Air Bleeder Screw replaces the fragile plastic OEM screw that is prone to breaking.
With time and under-hood heat exposure the stock plastic WIF sensors become brittle and need special handling. Your channel locks are typically pretty good at chewing up these plastic parts. And, although it is hard to see, they have a slight taper to them. PPE’s Water Level Sensor Wrench matches that taper perfectly allowing the sensor to be safely removed when it is time to replace the filter with regular maintenance.
It is a two-in-one tool, and since it is cut from stainless steel with a polished finish, it will look great in your toolbox too!
