I use these religiously on my 2023 GMC 1500 Denali 3.0 Duramax and they are way better than the cheap oem that come with the vehicle.I highly recommend these .When you see them in person you will know what I am talking about!

Way better than the dinky PF66 that it replaces. I stocked up on these filters (along with the matching PPE billet aluminum filter wrench) and will be using them on ALL of the oil changes for my 3.0 Duramax. I just did a break-in oil change at 1,000 mi and you can bet one of these PPE filters was the first thing to go on (along with a Fumoto drain valve). Oil in diesel engines gets dirty fast and this filter gives me some added piece of mind over the factory filter.

I recently purchased the upgrade to the GM PF66 factory filter. Upon inspection it seems to be a high quality piece of equipment, the case is at least as thick as OEM and the entire construction appears to be as well built. I like the idea of additional filtering material as well as the ability of said material to trap smaller particles. I also like the coil spring to assure very little oil gets bypassed as well as the silicone anti-drainback valve. Based on my experience with engines as well as aircraft it seems that PPE has made the type of improvements that will help my engine live a long life, lets see if it lives up to the 5 star rating.
