Excessive heat kills transmission life. As temperature rises, transmission fluid viscosity decreases, weakening the lubricating film that protects gears and bearings. This could cause premature wear and potential failure.

I really like the look of this trans-pan ! It was not that difficult to install ,with just a few tools and a little bit of elbow grease, pan came with new bolts and good directions . The only special tool needed is a torque wrench
