Featuring all-aluminum bar-and-plate construction and flow-optimized cast end tanks, these intercoolers are engineered to deliver consistent performance and durability, even under the harshest operating conditions.

The factory EcoBoost intercoolers are a tube and fin design with crimped plastic end tanks and are prone to heat soak under extended periods of high load or high ambient temperatures. An underperforming intercooler and subsequent high intake air temperatures can greatly reduce turbocharger efficiency, resulting in loss of power and reduced fuel mileage while putting unnecessary strain on engine components.

The PPE EcoBoost intercoolers provide up to 72% increased core volume and 30% less frictional pressure drop, improving airflow and turbocharger efficiency while being less susceptible to heat soak.
