Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan for 2018-2025 Jeep JL/JT 2.0L/3.0L/6.4L, 850RE/8HP75
The PPE Jeep JL/JT 850RE/8HP75 Cast Aluminum Deep Pan regulates the transmission heat and keeps the transmission fluid viscosity in a desirable range. It allows your transmission to handle the heat from off-roading better while prolonging its life.
Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, it offers 1 quarts of additional fluid capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance. The deep external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your transmission cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance impact resistance.
The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the pan’s cast surface, enhancing heat transfer. These baffles also reduce fluid sloshing, ensuring consistent fluid pickup and stable transmission performance.
This kit also comes with a replaceable trans fluid filter, mounted to the CNC machined filter supports. The drain plug ‘s equipped with a powerful, high-temperature-rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous metal particles, providing additional protection for your transmission. Note 1: Does not fit JL/JT 3.6L V6 due to interference with the exhaust pipes (See SKU 228153500)
Note 2: The Jeep Wrangler 2.0L/3.6L (with the 850RE transmission) and 3.0L/6.4L (with the 8HP75 transmission) use the same OEM stamped steel transmission pan and filter. This stamped steel pan is designed with a flat compound gasket featuring a metal core.
PPE Cast Aluminum Transmission Pans, SKU 228153000, 228153400, and 228153500 are all compatible with the 850RE and 8HP75 transmissions in the Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator. However, these pans differ in depth, resulting in different capacity gains.
228153000 has 2.2 quarts of additional capacity.
228153400 has 1.0 quart of additional capacity, offering better ground clearance.
228153500 has 1.0 quart of additional capacity, offering better ground clearance. Also, its external cooling fins are machined to be compatible with the exhaust cross pipe in the JL/JT 3.6L V6.
